Covid-19 Test Patented in 2015??

See the actual page on this link: https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/#query=covid-19&tab=patent&page=7 First alarm is the date of the patent.  Were’nt we told Covid was a disease first discovered in 2019?  And yet the date on this listing is 2015. How could this be possible
